The Christmas Morning Letter - The Frost Fair
What could be more magical than seeing a letter from Santa sitting alongside your stocking on Christmas Morning?
The letter is brimming with tales of Father Christmas's adventures on his long journey from the North Pole and given the personal touch with the inclusion of details relating to each child. This year Father Christmas talks about what happened when he stopped to pick up a special present at the Frost Fair.
"I was roped into judging the “Largest Christmas Pudding” competition! Enormous, wobbling puddings were being wheeled out left and right, all aflame and it was my duty to taste every single one. As soon as the winner was crowned, I leapt onto the sleigh, gift in hand, and off we whooshed through the night sky. I made it to Small Barn just in time!"
Letters are signed by Father Christmas, then hand-addressed, stamped, and franked by the elves. The finishing touch is added when the elves emboss the letter with the one word that every child wants to hear in the build-up to Christmas – that they have been NICE.
